In addition to containing Broad Spectrum CBD oil, this potent formulation also contains CBG (cannabigerol), which, like THC and CBD, is a type of cannabinoid molecule found in the cannabis plant. CBG does not have intoxicating properties like THC (none of that in this product, BTW) but shares some of THC’s properties. CBG is has even more COX 2 inhibiting properties than CBD based on several published bench top  studies although this has not been verified in vivo. With the addition of 1 part of CBG to each 2 parts of CBD, Dr Silver has instantly increased this supplement’s potency for your pet.

Medium Chain Triglycerides (MCT) are being used as the carrier oil for these Doc Silver Naturals hemp extracts, which imparts a bland, buttery taste much like the coconut oil the MCTs are derived from. MCT makes this formula especially suited for use with pets who are picky about what tastes they accept.

If you had been using the HempRx or the HempRx Forte for your dog or large animal, then this formula will substitute seamlessly. You can use the same dosing scheme that has been successful so far for your four-legged companions, and may find that the benefits are better, or that you can use a slightly lower dose and get the same results as with the HempRx products due to the CBG in this formula.

ADMINISTRATION GUIDE:  Optimal absorption when given with food. It is recommended to give the dose you’ve calculated on a small amount of food. Fatty food is the best. A good example of a fatty food treat to give the CBD:CBG oil is canned cat food. You can feed after dosing, twice daily. Studies show that giving with food in this way can increase blood levels 4 times or greater.

HOW MUCH TO GIVE?: The table will help you to determine how much to give your dog or larger animal in either drops or ml. Each dropper pipette has graduations on it in 1/4 ml increments.
